ABOUT US

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has chosen me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save His people." Luke 4:18-19

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
We Believe . . .
  • there is one God, Creator of all things. Eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • the entire Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
  • in the deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to the earth in power and glory.
  • that all men have sinned, but are justified through grace by faith in Christ's death and resurrection.
  • in the resurrection of the dead, the Second Coming of Christ, and the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of those who have rejected God's plan of salvation through Christ.
  • that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  • in the Born Again experience and baptism of the Holy Spirit as it was on the day of Pentecost and the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
  • in divine healing, through faith and that it is the Christian's right and privilege to trust God for their healing when they are sick and afflicted.
  • in open celebration of the communion table.
  • in water baptism by immersion and the voluntary dedication of children up to the age of understanding.
  • in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
